The Longevity Zone is a premier wellness platform dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of the Farmington Valley, CT community. Inspired by the principles of Blue Zones, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to promote physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing, and community belonging. Our holistic approach includes fitness programs, nutrition coaching, mental health support, and community activities, all aimed at helping individuals lead healthier, happier, and longer lives. Our Story
Globally inspired, locally envisioned.
The Longevity Zone was born from the vision and passion of Dr. Brian Magna, a seasoned physical therapist with over two decades of experience. Drawing inspiration from Dan Buettner's research on the world's healthiest and happiest communities, Brian envisioned a place where the principles of the Blue Zones could be applied locally. The Longevity Zone is the realization of that vision, aiming to create a thriving, health-focused community in the heart of the Farmington Valley.
Brian's journey began with his extensive education, earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Institute of Health and a physical therapy degree from the University of Connecticut. His expertise extends to sports medicine and biology, with specialized training in treating orthopedic conditions in athletes, golfers, dancers, and runners.
