Lauren has lived in Avon with her husband and 3 awesome children for almost 12 years. She has a strong belief that everything in moderation is the best way to live life! Family and friends come above all else and bringing people together makes her happy.

Lauren has a mixed background in both marketing and education and has worked in the non-profit sector for many years before becoming a teacher (both kindergarten and ESL). Lauren grew up in Sayville on Long Island and loves everything about the beach because of where she lived. She graduated from Boston College in 1995 with a BS in Marketing. Her first jobs in NYC were always about giving back to others. She planned fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as well as American Youth Hostels. She eventually couldn’t deny her desire to want to work with children and went back to school to get a Masters in Elementary Education from Hunter College. She taught in both NYC and CT for almost 12 years.

When CBD was first introduced to her during the pandemic, she didn’t know the difference between marijuana and hemp (and there is a big one!)!! As she and her family came to appreciate the benefits they were having from using CBD, she started to learn more about the plant and the CBD industry. She learned how CBD works in our body and why it is so important to know the source of your hemp. As she grew her knowledge, she wanted to help others understand CBD and help to debunk some of the myths and misinformation.

As a lifelong teacher and now a hemp wellness educator, Lauren is able to combine her appreciation for a line of usda certified organic hemp wellness products that have helped her whole family feel their best while educating others to understand the benefits of this amazing plant!
